This is our first "Fall Back" so I decided I would be prepared. Prepared for what? Prepared to savor that "hour" that I cherish, long for, dream of for 6 months. My plan was in motion, the only thing, or better said person, that could possibly put a wrench in my plans.... Sweet Adorable Alberto. So I had to put in a fool proof way of getting my extra hour. Are you ready for this? I went to bed early last night. Yep! That was it. And then this morning since I wanted to be greedy, I threw some toys into Alberto's pack-n-play and enjoyed sleeping in until 7am!
Alberto, on the other hand, had his schedule messed up. You could tell in the afternoon that Mr. Cranky-pants did not have a long enough nap. Yikes! Talk about moody, whiny and high maintenance. Between you and me... I now know what people have to put up with when I'm a little short on my naps. Poor child! Fortunately, I was well-rested and was able to avert any catastrophes.
He is sleeping nicely right now, and for the past couple nights has been going to be without much of a fuss. This is progress; although, he continues to wake up in the middle of the night. I have started giving him a sippy cup with water as a deterrent. My luck...he actually enjoys drinking the water and prefers it over his Pediasure. Well, actually, he likes to drink his water, then demands his Pediasure, then wants to chase his Pediasure with more water.
And yes, this means lots and lots and lots of Pediasure. If you haven't priced Pediasure, I'll save you the trouble. It's expensive for 6 little bottles. Alberto drinks an average of 3 bottles a day. It's a lot of Pediasure. Right now, Target sells them cheapest. So, I go to Target. But let's be honest, I think that Target has a minimum purchase requirement so it's not like I can just go in and buy Pediasure. I must go in and get at least one other thing. Generally, it does defeat the purpose of saving $1.50 but I enjoy Target so much that I do it anyway.
Here are the pictures of Alberto eating a flower. Today, he wanted to eat a snail. He is so cute: all boy.

Fortunately, I am not as "sensitive" as I think I am or I'd take it very personally that he will try to eat a flower, a rock and now a snail but gives me a hard time when I make him breakfast (bacon and eggs).

Well, maybe the flower tastes better than bacon and eggs? Hmmm. The Target thing...I swear they pump some sort of chemical in the air. When you walk in you forgot what the heck you went in there for, yet found 10 other items you MUST have. And you haven't even made it past the Dollar section. Then because you are stunned, you check out and on the way home discover that you never even bought what you went in there for! Target...a utopia!
I only changed half of my clocks and I have no clue what time it is.
Kim, you are so right about Target. I never considered "air pumping". But that makes sense.
Now I feel better about my impulse purchases, knowing I'm just a victim.
