Toddler Tuesday

My loyalty to Vick's Vapor Rub continues to grow. Today, I had to change Alberto out of his pajamas (he spit up; for those who were wondering why). I didn't reapply the Vick's. A couple hours later, he woke up crying and coughing. He'd go back down and start coughing again. I pulled out the jar of Vick's and a pair of socks. He's been sleeping soundly ever since. Thank you Jesus for Vick's Vapor Rub!!

Funny toddler things...

On Sunday, Alberto showed me a side of himself I'd never seen before. We woke up early on Sunday morning. I usually dress him in something casual to hang out at home before we get ready to go to church. I put on his Thomas the Train t-shirt that has this button that makes train sounds.
The time came to get dressed for church. I had this really cute outfit picked out and started to dress him. He got seriously upset when I took that Thomas t-shirt off. I mean, really ticked off. He then got his shirt and attempted to put it on -- which was kind of funny and cute. My heart just broke as he was trying so hard to put his shirt back on. So, I put it on him over his other clothes. He was happy, pressed his little button and started saying "choo choo".

Fortunately, the novelty of the Thomas t-shirt wore off at bath time.

That is cute about Thomas. You should google "A Day Out With Thomas" to see if it is near you. It's an AWESOME event for any Thomas the Train fan!!!

Isn't it funny when they assert their power! Kate has this thing where if her boots are around, she won't put on any other type of footwear. Seriously. The kid bends her toes, arches her feet, kicks until she can get her boots on. I think we are both gonna have fashionista's on our hands!

But the million dollar question is did he go to church sounding like a choo choo or was the bath first?!

Oh Ana, cherish each and every moment,as you do, they grow up so fast! This is the best time. They are so confident and secure in what they are and have. Thank goodness for blogger! We can all look back next year and the years following to see how they change. When they grow up, those kisses are very hard to retrieve!
I am laughing about the Thomas the Train shirt. That is so sweet. Caylee loves that show!! (although she is deathly scared of a real train) Daddy works for the railroad. Hope he's feeling better soon!
