Catchup and Mustard

Well, actually this is just my quirky humor, I have to muster the energy to catch up on everything that's gone on in the past week or so....

I am happy to report, that I did take a picture of Alberto sporting his Thomas the Train shirt over his regular clothes. He wore this all day long....

This is a December morning in Sunny South Florida getting ready to go to school. Oh no, guess what? Boys look good in Embassy Visa PINK -- but they don't look good in PINK EYE!!!! It was a morning at the pediatricians and no daycare for 2 days.

Getting in the Christmas Spirit, Alberto decides to finally wear the Santa hat.

Family Tradition, we all participate in the Miami Outboard Club Boat Parade. This year was special since Abuelo is the Commodore of the Boat Club and it was Alberto's first boat parade.

Yeah, he wasn't too thrilled about being in the captain's chair. He preferred running around. I preferred him not running around....
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree. We learned that the bulbs do not bounce. Fortunately most of the breakable stuff was up high. The tree actually looks better in person than it photographs -- sort of like me. :-)
Oh, is that a little hand I see grabbing something on the tree? Yep!

Look at that smile....

As you can see, we did have a cold front so Alberto had to wear long sleeves to the park.

Alberto really had a great week. He spent a lot of time with his cousins and that's always a lot of fun for him.

Me, well, I will never admit this to my mom -- ever -- but I think she might have been right...On Christmas Eve we had dinner at my sister's house. My sister decided to serve dinner outside. Yeah, it's not cold but it was really really humid. My mom thought I should wear a wrap, sweater, jacket or something. There was no way I was going to do that -- vanity vanity vanity.

Fast forward to Christmas morning and my head throbbing, ear aching, throat itching and the cough....And well, the cough has just gotten horrible and doesn't let me sleep. I am amazed that Alberto has slept through my coughing attacks. I sure haven't slept and I have the dark circles under my eyes to prove it and the sore ribs and abdominals too. In fact, I was thinking that maybe, coughing was a form of abdominal exercise and I could market it somehow. It's been pretty bad. Too much for Vicks and Mucinex. Now, I've added Delsym to the mix. And if this doesn't help....I might have to raid Alberto's nebulizer stash.

Talking about raiding the stash...I haven't done this in a long time. I really don't know why, but I haven't. Today, I went into the sample closet at work. You see, I've been breaking out and I needed to get something industrial strength for Alberto's diaper rash (I am still rubbing my head why I let these things go on for more than a day when I have access to the good stuff). On top of dark circles under my eyes, the look of exhaustion everywhere, my hair looking like a crazy woman, I've got the face of a teenager. And then, the light bulb went off...A duh! I don't have to look this way!! So, I got my antibiotics and creams for the zits. I should be back to a beautiful complexion in no time. And I got botox and restylane for Christmas. I should be shaving off 10 years real soon! Yay!!! Now, if I can just shave off 10 lbs....
