Baby, It's Cold Outside!!!!!

"Brrrrr Frio" was the new phrase we learned today. Alberto enjoyed saying it. I think he just liked the sort of kind of spitting part of the "brrrr".

Temperatures fell last night and we woke up to 50 degrees. I know, I know to all my friends and family north of Ft. Lauderdale, you are all probably wishing you could be "freezing" like us down here. But it is going to get colder! I think we might hit record lows in the 40's. "Brrrrr Frio".

Fortunately, "Brrrr Frio" should only last a couple days and then we can return to normal.

And that makes us very happy.

This is Alberto's new "Cheee" pose for pictures. :-)

Alberto is into discovery now. He discovered his Brio Train tracks, this morning as we were getting ready for the day. They have been tucked away under the bed in his room for almost a year. How or why he decided to check under the bed, followed by independently pulling them out from under his bed, to going and finding a little train, to sitting smack in the middle and playing, "choo choo", I have no idea. But he did. My child is resourceful! Fortunately he was fine saying "bye bye" to the train tracks and getting ready to go see Ms. Jackie at school.

Alberto is fast asleep. Laundry is in the dryer, Top Chef in the background, and the heater taking the "chill" out of my house is humming in the background. Okay fine in good old fashion Miami-style, I have the heater set to 77; at least it's not 85. Life is good! Praise God!

Uggh! I missed Top Chef! I was busy watching Lost!

Hmmm, "Brrr, frio", we give new meaning to that. It is -5 right now. I HATE winter. Send your heat wave up our way!

I LIKE how you re-decorated your blog. Tell Alberto that he has no concept of FRIO (it's -10 here right now). He is SO cute!!! Caleb also is BIG TIME into his train tracks (Thomas and friends).
