A week later and Alberto is doing so well! I can't believe he was feeling so yucky. I know, the other pictures simply did not convey that sentiment but it is true. I took a picture of him when he was sipping his 7-up. My poor little guy!! Notice there are no pictures of me feeling sick. I am sure that payback will be lots and lots of fun in the later years!

But as you can see from our trip to Publix this morning, he is looking fabulous and check it out, we are using the new seat cover. I have to practice installing it. Everything seemed to fit properly except for the back part.

He is doing really well. I really do marvel at how he has advanced so much in the past month. He took his first step about a month ago and then on July 4th he started taking steps with both feet -- maybe 2. Now, he is mostly walking and trying to run. And, his new found enjoyment, climbing. He just hasn't figure out how to do it. He tries (kind of funny to watch). I know he'll figure it out. He seems to figure these things out much sooner than I am ready to deal with them.
Today, along with all his fruits, blueberries, strawberries and grapes, I bought Alberto Haagen Dazs Light Dutch Chocolate icecream. Well, the truth is that they had a sale and it was 2 for a good price. So I bought myself the Dulce De Leche Light. So you're asking yourself, what happened to the cookie diet? It can be summed up with 3 letters: PMS.
Much to my shock, Alberto doesn't really care for icecream or maybe chocolate. After reading Sandy's blog, http://www.godspeakstoday.blogspot.com/, I think God is telling me something. I need to start taking care of myself, eating well, exercising and managing my stress better. I can't afford to get a cold or sick or anything like that.
Lessons learned: Have to take care of myself, eat well, exercise and manage my stress better. Next time I take Nyquil, I need to make sure I have a full dose of Diet Pepsi in the house or get more sleep.

I love that seat cover. You must have found it at Babies R Us. I am jealous..
Yes, Girlfriend...take care of yourself. Your son needs a healthy well-rested mommy.
You are awesome!
Love,
Sandy
