Coming Up For Air

I've re-written this opening sentence many times. I hate when I've neglected my blog coming back after I had a nice momentum and groove going. It's like not exercising for a week or so and struggling to get back into it. Same goes with writing.
The past few weeks have been extremely busy for me. At the end of the day, I am usually spent and feel like my account is overdrawn.

I cannot cast responsiblity of my exhaustion on parenting. That part has been the most gratifying. Even through pink-eye, a cold and picky eating, Alberto has been fabulous!

Alberto being a "big boy"

I'm pretty tired because work has been busy and home responsiblities seem to abound. I never really understood how laundry could multiply itself but somehow or other mine seems to do so. Then the dishes pile up. I don't know how this happens because it's not like we dirty that many dishes. And then there is the bathroom. After I read that someone found a 4 to 5 inche worm in their child's diaper, I've been cleaning the tub after all of Alberto's baths.

"See Mom, I eat!"

Talking about baths...Alberto graduated to bathing without a towel on the bottom of the tub and has been loving his bathtime now for a couple weeks. In fact, he loves water. Yesterday while my dad was watering some plants, Alberto ran into the stream of water from the hose.

Loving it at Ikea

"Ball!"

I have a load in the dryer, another load in the washer, dishes to do, a tub to clean and get everything organized for the cleaning lady. Oh yeah, remind me why I need a cleaning lady? The smell my house has when I get home on Mondays after she's cleaned.

Glad to see the update! Alberto is beautiful as always!

I wish I had an answer to the "laundry/cleaning/dishes" backlog...but I don't. You are definitely NOT alone with that gripe. Thank heavens we have a dishwasher...that has helped considerably.

I think Alberto gets cuter by the day. Oh and rub in the nice green grass, why don't ya? We are supposed to get hit with MORE snow tomorrow!

I missed you!!!!!!! Welcome back to blog land. Yes, the house and the laundry...I just blogged about my neglecting of such things too. It's amazing how it takes on a life of its own.

Alberto is so cute. My goodness. Please give Elliana first right of refusal with that handsom man of God, will ya??

Love,
Sandy
